In 2024, I lead software design for Jetpack Stats, site traffic analytics tool used by millions of our WordPress.com and self-hosted customers. We shipped features such as Devices, Regions, UTM, as well as several growth initiatives.
Device tracking is a module on the site traffic page that allows our customers to understand which device sizes, browsers, and operating systems are used by their visitors, on a global, site level. In user research and gap analysis, we identified it as a highly desired feature, which was later confirmed by high engagement after release.
Locations module gives paying customers a more detailed view of their visitor data. Site owners can break down the visit stats by country, region, and city—providing deeper insights into their audience.
Revamp of the traffic page date filtering and above the fold section, brought down the number of support tickets.
